Retro Bar / Flynn's on the Quayside is undergoing another re-branding or re-fitting with the shark finally gone and all the signage painted over, I wonder what this will become next.
Brown Bar and Brasserie - Unwrapped

The hoardings and scaffolding have now been removed from the outside of the new Browns Bar & Brasserie on Grey Street. It looks like the majority of internal work is also completed and they'll be ready for opening as scheduled during week commencing Monday 23rd April.
Switch undergoing refurb

Switch Bar in the Pink Triangle area of Newcastle, is currently undergoing a major refurb and is closed. According to signage on the door, the re-opening is scheduled for Thursday 5th April 2012. It does look like The Loft Nightclub (above Switch) is part of the refit.
